Jo originally trained as an orchestral percussionist and began her career working with orchestras such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra and City Ballet of London Orchestra.

 

 

A trip to Sidmouth Folk Festival sparked an enthusiasm for traditional music and led to her involvement with folk groups including the ceilidh band, Token Women and European group, Freyja. Jo currently performs regularly with Zoox, with whom she plays an assortment of instruments including congas, djembe, bodhran and spoons!
