Description:

The Elgiva is a purpose built 300 seater community Arts venue that opened in 1998. It is home to a first class D D Sound, which shows a mixture of popular, foreign language and arthouse films (see separate entry for Chiltern Film Club). The venue boasts of a fine coffee shop, resturant and bar, serving everything from appealing home-cooked lunches and tasty snacks to delicious dinners.

The Elgiva is available for private hire and offers excellent facilities for seminars, conferences, family celebrations, dinner dances and corporate functions.

A brochure detailing the venue's events is published on a six monthly basis. The Elgiva has just completed its most successful season since the opening of the new theatre in 1998 and Mark Barnes has just completed his first year as Manager of this vibrant venue.
