Eddie Kent Ceramics

Subject:
Fine Arts > Sculpture

Age Suitability:
For all age groups

Description:

My passion is the hand building of Raku and Stoneware ceramics.

Specialising in decorative pots and vessels greatly inspired by Gothic, Celtic, Aboriginal and African motifs which can be seen in the carved designs that seem typical of my stoneware work. With the Raku work a more 'graphical' style is used with designs tending to be more 'Geometric' and using the properties of this technique to create bold statements.

Working from a workshop at my home in Bledlow Ridge, I produce hand built Stoneware items. Over the last year I have been working with the Raku method of firing and hope to explore this technique more, and have built a gas fired kiln.
